This tesbih is handcrafted from vegetable ivory (coconut shell), a natural material historically used as an alternative to animal ivory. The making process itself is a form of meditation. Each of the 33 beads and the resting elements were individually shaped, sanded, and finished by hand. The repetitive rhythm of the work reflects patience, balance, and focus. Vegetable ivory is valued for its warm tone, smooth feel, and quiet presence. This piece represents craftsmanship as mindfulness — a calm, intentional dialogue between hand, material, and time
